About 101digital
I founded 101digital after having worked as a full-stack web developer for 7 years. Back in 2014, I discovered that I could apply my passion for creativity in logical problem solving to programming and websites; and with a background in business and economics, I knew I could apply this creativity to providing the kinds of solutions businesses actually need and have now done so for a range of clients and on projects both big and small.
Born and raised in London, I attended the Latymer School in Edmonton, before moving on to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Econometrics at the University of Exeter, for which I was awarded first-class honours.
From here, I entered the business world straight away, landing a job at IBISWorld, a central London consultancy firm specialising in microeconomic forecasting and industrial analysis. There, I worked alongside other analysts to deliver leading reports on a wide array of British industries, giving me the kind of insight into the way British business works that would eventually help translate my web skills into real value for my clients.
It was after leaving that role that I first began coding, and realised quickly just how much of a drive I had for it. I got to work straight away, delivering full-stack solutions to clients predominantly through ASP.NET. I then earned a Microsoft certificate in SQL Server in 2015.
In the following years, I expanded my skill set, developing a level of comfort and familiarity with a variety of modern web technologies, and have now developed a level of comfort and familiarity with not only the technological side of the web, but also the visual design and user experience aspects as well.
